For Sale Birds can now enter other competitions.

Super Ace Birds as well as For Sale Birds activated in time can now receive some credits if lost.

The pigeons are well prepared for the up and coming Hotspot races where the real competition begins. If you want your birds to be eligible for all prize money races they need to be activated by Thursday 18th June 12 noon.

Hotspot 1 next weekend will be the last chance to see how your pigeons are performing to enter the following competitions;

Knock-out                  US$ 20 000 prize

Team Competition     (Select 5 birds from any of your activated pigeons or for sale pigeons) US$ 40 000 in prizes

Normal Ace                US$ 50 000 in prizes

Birds must be selected and activated by Thursday 25th June 12 noon.

We have decided to allow Venture or For Sale pigeons to enter these competitions as well as Normal Ace and Super Ace. This will give due recognition to Donors that kindly donated pigeons in aid of the charity we support. 

We had previously announced in our Newsflash of 2nd June that there will be credits due for lost Super Ace pigeons. These conditions have now been extended to all activated “For Sale “pigeons paid for in time.

Should an entrant lose an activated “For Sale” or Super Ace pigeon during racing a credit will be due in the following proportions:

Lost before HS3 (317km) = 100% credit

Lost before HS4 (410km) = 50% credit

Lost before HS5 (475km) = 25% credit

Lost before basketing of Final (600km) = Nil

PLEASE NOTE. The breeders of “For Sale “pigeons that are bought by third parties because breeders did not pay the entrance fees will not be given recognition for good performances. Instead the birds will be raced under the activators name and all credit will be theirs. If no pedigree is provided there is no pay-out to the new owner in terms of the rules. The onus on getting a pedigree from the breeder rests with the activator of the bird.
