We are building up to the final race on the 19th of July. The minimum distance for the final will be 600km but depending on the weather conditions, could be further up to 650km.

The pigeons are recovering well from Hotspot 5 and will only have 2 short tosses this week and will be allowed to rest before basketing for the final on Wednesday 17th.

Between 150 and 200 pigeons will be on display on Saturday 20th where they can be examined by potential buyers attending the race. Selected birds will be sent to PIPA for auction as soon as possible after the last race.

We will have the Victoria Falls Enduro race from 725 km (450 miles) 8 days after the final but this depends on the weather conditions and the condition of the birds after the final. The conditions for participation in the Victoria Falls Enduro will be published shortly.

Please urgently email through pedigrees of pigeons so they are available when examining the pigeons. Please remember that sale proceeds will not be given to breeders of pigeons without pedigrees.

Training Flight 19

Scheduled for tomorrow morning, 10 July from 47km at 06.50 am.  Activations have been moved over from missing birds to the next reserve in that team. Tomorrow we will be emailing out the free entry credits for lost birds which are currently due for next year so that you can choose to use them on For Sale birds or available reserves this season instead, if you wish to.
